About Dr. Beatty
Taylor Beatty, DO, is a board-eligible orthopedic surgeon specializing in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of neck and back pain. He enjoys building close relationships with his patients and helping them return to their active lifestyles through a variety of surgical and non-surgical techniques. Dr. Beatty offers many in-office procedures prior to surgery such as trigger point injections, cervical and lumbar facet injections, cervical and lumbar epidural injections, selective nerve root blocks and radiofrequency ablations.
Dr. Beatty is originally from Iowa. He received his undergraduate degree from Austin College in Sherman, Texas, where he was a power forward on the basketball team. Following in his grandfather's footsteps, Dr. Beatty attended Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
After graduation, he completed his Orthopedic Surgery training at Largo Medical Center in nearby Largo, Florida. Dr. Beatty further honed his surgical skills by completing a surgical fellowship in complex spinal surgery at the University of Washington Harborview Medical Center.
With his extensive surgical training, Dr. Beatty manages all facets of Orthopedic and Neurosurgical spinal surgery, including extensive mentoring in complex trauma cases, tumors, infection, degenerative disorders, revision spinal surgery, and spinal deformity. He has training in all aspects of spinal instrumentation, spinal injections, image-guided surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and robotic spine surgery.
When he isn't busy helping patients, Dr. Beatty enjoys spending time with his wife, saltwater fly fishing, and camping.
